New Life Church Grand Junction

About Us

We are a worshiping community of Christ followers with traditional Christian beliefs and a reformed perspective. Together, we want to follow Jesus with increasing confidence and resilience through participatory worship, shared responsibility and connected community.

Participatory Worship

Every week we worship our Lord through reading His Word, singing and praying.

  • 2nd, 4th & 5th Sundays: A message from God’s Word is offered by a member of our preaching group.
  • 1st and 3rd Sundays: During our normal sermon time, we break into small groups to discuss or practice formative ideas from God’s Word or the message from the previous week.

Shared Responsibility

  • Pastor Elders: We have a group of bi-vocational pastor elders who are committed to shepherding and serving this body of believers.
  • Preaching Group: under the elders’ oversight, this group meets to discuss and prepare messages from the Bible. Each member brings the Word to our congregation in a regular rotation.

Connected, Contributing Community

Twice monthly, we enjoy a meal together as part of our worship immediately following the service. All are welcome, there is always enough. Our community life promotes interdependence as we share the work of life together. Almost everyone serves some role in the church. Our shared leadership can be confusing for newcomers, but it is good for our church family to share the load.
